The most exotic and most expensiv coffee on the market

Kopi Luwak

The coffee with the exotic name "Kopi Luwak" originates from the Indonesian Islands Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. The extraordinary about this coffee is that the green coffee beans must first travel through the digestiv system of a special Asian Palm Civet called "Luwak". Only after having been excreted by the animal this coffee drops are collected by the coffeefarmers, who thoroughly sanatize the beans and dry them in the sun.

Genuin Kopi Luwak beans releas hidden flavour compounds while travelling through the civet and reveal an extraordinary mild taste with chocolate and earthy notes.

There are only about 250 kg of Kopi Luwak coffee been gained in a yearly harvest, and this is the reason why this rare coffee is so extremly expensive.

Even in Indonesia itself it is hard to find genuine Kopi Luwak in larger quantities - Kaffee Badilatti is fortunate to entertain good business and personal relationships in the country to find always the needed quantity of this extraordinary coffee for its customers.
