Only few people know that only 15 km from St. Moritz there is the highest coffee roaster in Europe at 1715 metres above sea level, Cafè Badilatti
Cafè Badilatti is a family owned business that has been producing high-quality coffee for over three generations. The green coffee beans which are roasted at Cafè Badilatti mostly come from fair-trade and ecological production sites. Most of Badilatti coffee is sold and consumed in Canton Graubünden and many small sales are made to private households all over Switzerland. An expanding part of the business is exporting coffee to Germany, Italy and even as far away as Russia.
In 2003 Daniel Badilatti launched the protected trade name “St. Moritz Cafè” and with his business sense, backed up by generations of coffee-trade experience, firmly believes in his company philosophy, "expansion by quality rather than quantity".
